GDV Planning Team member - World Scout Moot 2013

Dear Colleagues,

Greetings!

We are pleased to inform you that the organizing committee of the 2013 World Scout Moot in  collaboration with the World Scout Bureau/Asia-Pacific Regional Office is looking for experienced volunteer Scouts to join the Global Development Village Planning Team at the World Scout Moot in Canada.
Therefore, we would like your NSO to take this opportunity to nominate a possible candidate for this position for consideration. The nominee should posses the following criteria:

- age between 25 and 45 years old; either male or female;
- held a similar position(GDV planning team member) in a regional/national camp;
- participated/served as an IST in a World Scout Jamboree or World Scout Moot;
- speaks English fluently;
- has experience on working with NGOs and global issues;
- able to devote 3 to 5 hours per Week to the GDV;
- able to participate at Skype meetings (which will usually be held somewhere between 17:00 and 23:00 CET)
- able to participate at one preliminary meeting most probably held in early 2013 (March to May if possible somewhere in Europe).

Please note that the main working language of the team will be English, but the camp will be held in a French speaking area.

If you are interested to send a nominee, please send the detailed CV with recent photograph highlighting his/her Scouting background and achievement as Scout/Scout Leader not later than 15 November 2012.

Upon receiving nominations, the best Scout/Leader from among the nominated candidates will be selected based on merit and the successful applicants will be notified by early December 2012.
